From 2004 to the year 2013, Marvin Edeas (linkedin.com) worked as a teacher at the Paris 13 Bobigny and Poitiers Universities. He pursued a course at Paris Descartes University on infectious diseases. Marvin Edeas chaired the Scientific Committee of the Targeting Microbiota and Mitochondria Congress of 2016, which brought together more than 400 individuals. He frequently works with INSERM, CNRS and Paris Descartes University in the Development, Reproduction and Cancer Department (DRC). Marvin Edeas carries out clinical studies in nephrology patients and examines the effect of microbiota metabolites on mitochondrial activity of those patients.

Marvin Edeas' research is commonly written about in the press. Back in the year 2015, he authored two reference works in the field of mitochondrial medicine. His thesis, defended in the year 1996, dealt with the role of oxidative stress in HIV replication in both symptomatic and asymptomatic HIV-infected patients. Marvin Edeas is the author of several publications and books.
